How to Make Pancakes

This beginner guide shows you a simple way to make delicious pancakes. This classic breakfast food an all time favourite among many breakfast enthusiasts. It solid option for a tasty breakfast, delightful lunch, sweet dinner or even a filling late night snack. Pancakes are delicious no matter the time or day.

Steps to Make Pancakes

    Gather Needed Ingredients

    Flour (1 cup), baking powder (2 teaspooons), sugar (1 tablespoon), salt (one pinch), milk (3/4 of a cup), egg (1 large), melted butter or oil (2 tablespoons).

    Mix Dry Ingredients

    In a medium sized bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until combined.

    Add Wet Ingredients

    Make a well in the center of the dry mix. Add milk, egg, and melted butter in the well. Whisk gently until well combined.

    Heat the pan and pour

    Warm a non-stick pan on medium heat and lightly oil/butter it. Pour 1/4 of a cup of batter per pancake.

    Flip and Serve

    Cook until bubbles form on the top of the pancake and edges look set (about 2 minutes). Flip and cook 1-2 minutes more. Serve when done for best taste.
